What’s On Crucorney

Crucorney is a large community area including the village of Llanfihangel Crucorney itself as well as Pandy, Grwyne Fawr, Fforest Coalpit, Llanthony and Cwmyoy.  It has a thriving community with many activities, clubs and events.  If you are a long term resident, have recently joined the community, or are a visitor to the area, there is most likely something you would enjoy happening soon.

  • Seasoned firewood

    There is a large quantity of seasoned firewood available free to anybody that wants to collect it. This wood is mainly Ash and has come from trees that were felled earlier this year. It consist of very large sections that will need to be split they are approx 9 inch in thickness and 24 inch diameter minimum. Help can be given to load and move if you are interested.     To combat the effects of all this snow and cold weather, come and be transported to Mexico. This month, Mrs Anne Bevan will be talking to us about her visit there and bringing some beautiful arts and crafts items to show us.

    Village People Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month, with refreshments and a raffle. We enjoy trips, speakers, meals and the charity we support is Ty Hafan. £2 per meeting. Further information: 01873 890281

  • Burglaries and Thefts

    There have been a spate of Burglaries and thefts in the village over the last week or so. Please be aware the thieves have been targeting outbuildings as sheds taking small power tools and garden equipments.

    Maybe time to review your security.

  • ProBus Club Abergavenny

    Probus is an association of retired and semi retired men and women who join together in meeting. There are autonomous clubs throughout the UK and many other countries worldwide.

  • Village People Lunch



    The Village People New Year lunch will be held on Tuesday 30th January 2018 at 12.30 for 1.0 p.m. at the Park Hotel, Pandy.  If you would like to come and have not already contacted Carolyn Davies, then please do so 01873 892869, and let her know by 23rd January.

    If you are not able to come to the lunch, but would like to join the group, we will be meeting again on 27th February at 2.30 p.m. in Pandy Village Hall, and you are very welcome.
