What’s On Crucorney

Crucorney is a large community area including the village of Llanfihangel Crucorney itself as well as Pandy, Grwyne Fawr, Fforest Coalpit, Llanthony and Cwmyoy.  It has a thriving community with many activities, clubs and events.  If you are a long term resident, have recently joined the community, or are a visitor to the area, there is most likely something you would enjoy happening soon.

  • Opening of Llwyn Celyn Events

    Llwyn Celyn

    The house at Cwmyoy which has undergone very extensive renovation by the Landmark Trust will be opening it doors to Visitors and guest from Sunday 30th September up until 10th October 2018. After that date the house will be used as holiday accommodation  where guest can stay for breaks.

    During the opening events there will be an increase in traffic on the roads that lead up to the house. A temporary car park will be set up in the field below the house. If you have been invited to visit please use this car park and then walk up to the house.

  • Burglaries and Thefts

    There have been a spate of Burglaries and thefts in the village over the last week or so. Please be aware the thieves have been targeting outbuildings as sheds taking small power tools and garden equipments.

    Maybe time to review your security.

  • ProBus Club Abergavenny

    Probus is an association of retired and semi retired men and women who join together in meeting. There are autonomous clubs throughout the UK and many other countries worldwide.

    If you went to the Open day on Saturday in Court Wood you will have seen Charcol being made in the kiln. 150 Kgs of this has now been processed and bagged up and is ready for Sale at Skirrid Mountain Garage in the village.

  • Wonky Telephone Box lifeline

    The Grand opening and launch of the wonky box for use as a defibrillator Base took place last week. The window adverts should be in place by the end of the month. There are a few left so if you want to advertise your business please contact Steve to arrange this.
