Formed in 2008, our Group exists to encourage and enable sustainable living in our community and we do this by promoting :

• renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon reduction
• bio-diversity
• conservation and protection of natural resources
• the philosophy and ethics of reduce , reuse and recycle
• the environment and sustainable development
• the aesthetic qualities of the environment, both natural and built
• education in traditional woodland crafts and skills

In April 2019 we successfully transitioned to become a Community Interest Company. Our Articles of Association can be viewed in the Policies and Procedures section of this website.

We welcome all members, whatever their age and abilities and rely entirely on volunteers giving of their time to support our activities.
